Warehouse Assistant

Responsibilities

  • Open and sort client mail
  • Check prep shelves to make sure the boxes for the today’s schedule are available, if not retrieve boxes for today’s work from the warehouse and place on the shelves in the prep area, based on the production managers schedule
  • Move completed boxes from QC back to warehouse/staging area
  • Organize boxes while they are waiting for destruction or return to clients
  • Prepare boxes for destruction and obtain shredding company signature on the destruction manifest for boxes destroyed
  • Maintain the warehouse in a clean, neat, organized, effective and efficient manner

Physical Requirements

  • Heavy work required
  • Constantly lifting 20-40-pound boxes
  • Crouching to find boxes, standing/walking for periods of time
  • Required to function in narrow aisles or passageways
  • Climb ladders to reach higher/top levels of warehouse shelving
  • Withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment
